Death penalty

 This week in class we saw the death penalty and we investigated a little about it, the truth is that it is a very delicate topic since it talks about death and the life of a person, in class we had to do a debate, we divided the class and I had to be in favor of the death penalty, the truth is that it was difficult I had to get my point of view of why I would be in favor? 

Since that I don’t consider myself in favor of the death penalty, because it is the life of a person and no person deserves to die ,whatever the murder is also a crime and so the death penalty is not the only punishment , the crimes can also be paid in prison and with punishments ,the death penalty It turns people into murderers and it is a bad example for society ,since they are doing the same thing that is said not to be done KILLING, since it is a very serious action because you are acting in a brutal and ugly way, many people want remove this punishment because no one deserves to die  and everyone can regret their actions. 

What I learned doing this debate is that I was able to analyze the points of view of why a person would be in favor  of death penalty  and the truth is that I never considered before if I was in favor or against this issue, the only thing I thought before was that I wanted crimes to end and obviously those people who commit crimes are bad and brutal, but I realized that death is not a worthy punishment or solution to stop crimes ,since nobody deserves that and it is taught by example, many people say that  the death penalty is good to prevent more people like that continuing  existing, but I think that with order and discipline in a jail, people who commit these crimes will serve their sentences, but for that, corruption also needs to end .I liked these classes this week since we learned about a new topic and we were also able to participate by giving our point of view about the theme we see in class. I really liked this activity.
